In the midst of 2023 wedding season & being a new mum so its a little crazy over here!

Little Millie arrived 6 days late on 9th October 2022 & has filled my world with utter joy (& sleepless nights) since! My responses are maybe take a little longer than before and my diary isnt as available as it used to be so i can spend time with my new family at the weekends so thank you all for your paitence & enquiries.

With all the above being said, Im now fully booked until November which i will most probably take off & then do some occasion makeup for Christmas as usual, so keep an eye on my socials for availability. 

My 2024 bridal diary is nearly full for Summer dates. I do have a little more availability in Spring & Autum but still limited. So, please do get intouch ASAP if you are still looking for a Makeup artist for your wedding day in 2024. 

2025 Bridal Diary will open 1st September. Those on my wait list will be contacted first at the end of August, so please keep an eye on your emails!

Its been a hot minute since i posted on here! alot has changed... I didnt get married, i moved to Aberdeen & im now pregnant! 4 years is a long time - haha!

I am fully booked for bridal bookings for 2022. I will look to take on some occasion make up appointments later in the year for christmas but until then my weekends will be filled with Bridal Trials & Weddings!

I intend to open my 2024 diary in september just before i go on maternity leave for a couple of months. As i say i plan to return properly in december just in time for the christmas party season so please do get intouch if you are looking to book for then. i will however keep social media up to date with all my availability in the lead up. 

Its a short, sweet & to the point update! But cant wait to see all your lovely faces soon.

Hello Everyone

Its been over a year since i last wrote a blog post here on the website! Maybe I should do it a bit more oftern!

2017 was a great year for me here at Lauren Alexandra Makeup. So many lovely clients & some beautiful brides. I almost cant believe how far my business has came in the 2 years we have nearly been up & running.

As some of you may or may not know, i get married myself in summer 2018, so this means i am going to have to cut down on my working days next year to allow time for Elliot & I to attend all those important appointments, our actual wedding then Mini & Honeymoon (cause obviously 1 honeymoon just isnt enough!!) later on in to 2018.

For all my 2018 brides if you all could get in touch with me ASAP to book in your trial dates prior to the wedding. I usually suggest trials to be done around 6 - 8 weeks prior to the big day so we have time to change any skincare if required.

Appoinment wise, once we get in to May im already pretty much booked up each weekend with June & August being completely booked out. As i only work weekends you can appreciate appointments do go really quickly so i cant stress how important it is for you to contact me to get this arranged as early as possible.

I will try keep my blog posts more up to date in 2018! haha!

Hello!!

So i havent posted for a while!

Wedding season was super busy which was great for LA's 1st full wedding season. I still have a few more weddings before the end of the year but im definately getting some longer lies on saturday mornings now & fitting in lots of occasion make up aswell as some trials for 2017s brides.

Im taking alot of December off due couple of big occasions to celebrate (I got engaged myself!! :) & my Boyfriends turning 30) I have all my remaining appointments for the year on my Facebook page if you want to check availability.

For anyone looking to get thier wedding trials booked in - Please get intouch with as much notice as possible to book in. I do suggest trials to be booked a couple of months in advance & that we do your trial around 8-6 weeks before the wedding. I do only work weekends so the more notice the easier for me to fit you in.

I'll get another update before the end of the year & hopefully 2017 will see some new things at LA MUA for you all to check out!
